Want To See Me Vomit On Stage At MIX 2010?

If you are tired, and don't feel like reading, then just go here and vote for me. If you actually want to figure out what you are voting for, then read on. :-) Just kidding, you should read below before you go vote.

Hello there loyal readers :-) I come to you with a serious question, "would you like to see me vomit on stage at MIX 2010?" If the answer to that question is "yes", then you should go vote for me. Okay, so maybe I won't actually vomit, but I promise to be really nervous! I've given tons of talks before, but I doubt that I've ever been in front of a group as large as one that will be at MIX. So I might vomit. :-) But probably not.

Digging Deep Into Linq Presentation

I’ve given this presentation a few times now, and while it is some pretty heady stuff, I think that many people have still gotten quite a bit of useful information out of it. I keep promising to put the slides and code up on my blog, and I never did because I kept meaning to make a blog post series out of it.

Well, this past week I gave the talk again in Raleigh and I had about 5 different people send me requests to get some of the source or slides. I decided that I am still going to try and do a blog post series out of the talk, but I need to go ahead and get the code and slides up so that I don’t keep putting it off.

I apologize to those people that I told I would post the content and then didn’t. So anyways, here it is:

You can download the code and slides here.

Dependency Injection Presentation

For those of you that do not know, I gave a presentation last weekend at the Richmond Code Camp 2008.1. Yep, we have more than one Code Camp per year in Richmond, we are quite lucky!  For those of you who could not attend my presentation I am putting up my slide deck and sample code, but I will also be turning my presentation into a series of posts. I wanted to do a screencast of the presentation, but Camtasia is about 300 dollars, so it is a bit out of my price range for free work. I feel like the posts will present the information better than a slide deck and sample code, but if you want to download the presentation anyways, feel free!

Update: I have now added a pdf version of the slides for those who cannot use the pptx file. The only issue is that the pdf lacks the notes that the powerpoint presentation has on them. So, it may be hard to tell what certain parts of the presentation mean. Hopefully though it will still be of some use to you!
